Welcome to the Southwest Houston Agility Group. We're a new agility group based mostly in Fort Bend County, Texas. SHAG is a NADAC club that was formed in the fall of 2008 that is interested in promoting the sport of dog agility in our area by providing events for you and your dog to participate in and to give you a reason to come play in the dirt with your dog!
We wanted to give beginners new to the sport a "lifeline" so that when they start competing, we can help them get ready and make it a rewarding experience. Some of our members have competed for years, while others are just getting their feet wet. SHAG is intended to encourage everyone to play and trial in an environment that is friendly, supportive, and practices good sportsmanship.
We look forward to many great years working with and for the agility community in this area!

Also, we are tentatively planning a show n go the Friday evening before our trial. The show n go will be held at
J-Canine Pet Resort, about 5 minutes from the trial site. Watch for announcements or email us for more details.
